To Be In This Place
Pause
Diapause.
Listen to this place with your entire being.
Sit with its inhalations, exhalations, its sighs and its psalms. Embrace this land’s undulations
with your own curious topography. Feel the ants scuttle across the soil, their legs syncopated to
the flutter of your eyelashes and gentle waxing of your diaphragm.
In this place, no one is ever still but we can each choose rest.
Will you overwinter with me in this moment?
